Who runs this site

This website is run by Mateen Hepburn, trading as MH AI Consulting, based in London, UK. If you have any question about your data, email mateen@mhconsulting.ai and I will reply within one business day.

What I collect, and why

Two things, and only when you choose to share them:

When you send a message or book a call

If you fill in the contact form, I receive your name, email, optional business name and your message. The form is handled by Formspree, which passes it straight to my inbox. If you book a call, that runs through Calendly, which collects your name, email and chosen time. I use this only to reply to you and run the call. I never sell it or add you to a marketing list you didn't ask for.

Anonymous visit statistics

If you accept cookies, this site loads Google Analytics so I can see how many people visit and which pages they read. Your IP address is anonymised, there is no advertising, and you are not tracked across other websites. If you decline, Google Analytics never loads at all.

Cookies

When you first arrive you'll see a small banner at the bottom of the screen. Nothing that tracks you runs until you choose:

• Accept loads Google Analytics, which sets a couple of first-party cookies (named _ga and similar) to tell one visit from the next. They last up to two years.
• Decline loads no analytics and sets no analytics cookies.

Your choice is remembered in your browser, along with whether you picked light or dark mode. To change your cookie choice, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again next time you visit.

The tools this site relies on

A handful of trusted services make the site work. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Fasthosts — hosting for the website.
• Fontshare — serves the typefaces the site is set in.
• Formspree — delivers contact-form messages to my inbox.
• Calendly — the booking calendar.
• Google Analytics — anonymous visit statistics, only after you accept.
• Google Workspace — the mailbox that receives your messages.

How long I keep things

Contact-form and booking messages stay in my email for as long as they're useful to our conversation or any work that follows, and I'll delete them on request. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous, and Google retains it for up to 14 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me what data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email mateen@mhconsulting.ai and I'll sort it out, no forms to fill in. If you're ever unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this note

If the site starts collecting anything new, I'll update this page and change the date at the top. This is a small consultancy site, so changes will be rare.
